We have solid experience in assisting clients with the legal elements of ISO 14001 both before and after certification. Extensive input is usually provided to cover the legal aspects, like procedures, licencing requirements and agreements. In addition, legal requirements governing aspects and impacts are identified and inserted into a client’s Aspects and Impacts Register.
Our clients’ ongoing compliance with legal and other requirements is supplemented by our Legal Registers and legal updating service. This ensures that they are at all times fully aware of legal developments and changes, especially where they are ISO 14001 certified or are striving towards such certification.
As a result of our firm’s expertise in environmental law we are also regularly subcontracted by the South African Bureau of Standards to perform ISO 14001 certification and surveillance legal audits on their behalf.
